The circuit shown in diagram is drawn in three parts.
(1) Schematic diagram or control circuit diagram
(2) Power circuit
(3) Combination of power circuit and schematic diagram in the form of wiring diagram.
The schematic diagram is drawn for designing the motor control circuit as it is easy to understand the working of various components and operation of the electric circuit. The symbols of the different parts have been arranged in such a way that the circuit is traced without any difficulties.
The power circuit consists of 3 phase 4 wire supply or 3 phase 3 wire supply, fuses, TPIC main switch , power contactor, NVR or no volt release and overload relay are placed in series between line motor. A pair of push buttons, fuse, overload relay link and electromagnetic coil are placed in series in schematic diagram. The electromagnetic coil is designed at 230 V where neutral is available and connected across phase and neutral. The auxiliary contactor is placed in parallel with push button on one side.
