Leather Craft and Design - The Certificate in Leather Craft and Design (Level 2) will equip participants with foundation skills for designing and manufacturing leather goods. It includes communication and entrepreneurial skills as well as design and technical skills to further the trainees’ careers in the leather industry in Namibia.
The qualification will provide articulation pathways for
graduates to higher level qualifications, as well as entry level employment and self employment opportunities in the leather craft and design industry in Namibia.
Minimum admission to the course leading to this qualification will be based on completion of
the Junior Secondary phase (Grade 9) of the revised Namibian school curriculum.
